After successfully growing his own brand and community under a national brand’s roof since 2006, Remington knew it was time to step out on his own. Rand Properties, an independent and client-focused real estate brokerage, opened its doors in 2018.
While he does have a full-service marketing team, Rem’s priorities remain on what’s made him so successful – focus, honesty, and efficiency.
“You’ll quickly learn that Rand Properties is synonymous with honesty. And sometimes that honesty can feel unusual. But it’s our policy to take care of problems today while it’s within our control, rather than place the burden solely on the client and move on.
I don’t belong to any corny networking clubs or even country clubs for that matter. I don’t pay for leads or do cold calling. I sell real estate and I pay attention to what is happening in front of me. I’ve sold million dollar properties because of people I’ve bumped into that I’d never met.
Too many people think big business is about who can yell the loudest. But that doesn’t work long-term. And I’m in real estate for the long-term.”
Remington is married to Anne Randolph Goddard Rand – a Richmond native. They live with their rescued dog, Tophe, on Hanover Ave in The Fan. Anne Randolph works in communications for the Richmond SPCA. Remington is an active enduro dirt bike rider and Anne Randolph competitively rides Hunter horses.
